This Privacy Policy details how we use the personal information we collect from you and your rights as a data subject in relation to the General Data Protection Regulation 2022 (GDPR). Please read and ensure you fully understand this policy before using our programs, courses, products and services. We regularly review this policy to ensure it meets current regulations and will, from time to time, amend it. Any time we make an amendment we will let our registered members know by email what the change/s are. All new visitors to HOLISTICALLY CHARMED should refer to the privacy policy on the Website as the most up-to-date version.

“Personal information”, or “Personally Identifiable Information” means information that may be used on its own or in conjunction with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person. Examples of this personal information include, but are not limited to; your name, date of birth, email address, mailing address and telephone number etc.

We will use your personal information in the following instances;

  1. To deliver our programs, courses, products and services that you have requested or agreed to participate in;

  2. To contact you in relation to the use of such programs, courses, products and services;

  3. For content improvement and feedback; and

  4. To inform you of programs, courses, products and services that we or a third party provides and feel that it may be beneficial for you to consider using.

When you are utilizing some of our paid-for services we will collect your credit/debit card details via a third-party supplier; ‘Stripe, Squarespace or Eventbrite’. They only use the card details provided for the specific transaction you are entering into. We will not have access to your card details and should you wish to make subsequent payments you will need to use Stripe, Squarespace or Eventbrite websites each time, we will provide you with a link to their website.

We do not share your personal information with any third parties. We do however, from time to time, on our website or in other communications with you, refer to third-party products and/or services that we think you should consider using. The references we make are not specific recommendations to your personally as we are only able to make specific recommendations to you once you have had a personal consultation with us.

We are not responsible for, or in control of these third-party sites/products/services and suggest you review their individual Privacy Policies and websites before proceeding to enter your personal information or purchasing products with them. By entering your personal information on our website or when we collect the information in person you are authoring us to send you free information on our programs, courses, products and services that we feel may be of interest to you. All communication with you will be on the relevant lawful basis as annotated within the GDPR. 

If at any time in the future, you wish to no longer receive emails from us please either hit the unsubscribe button at the bottom of any of our emails or contact us at hello@holisticallycharmed.com detailing “unsubscribe” in the subject line. If you are having a holistic nutrition consultation or astrology reading with us, as well as collecting personal information, we may also ask you for 'special categories of data', namely health questions, in order to assist us in determining the most relevant course of action for you. We will only request this information where there is a legitimate reason for us to require it.

We do our utmost to ensure the personal data we hold about you is as safe and secure as it can be and that the service provider that we use to store your data also complies with the GDPR and relevant laws. It may also be necessary for us to hold personal information (and special categories of data) about you in ‘paper form’ and as such we also ensure that this information is also kept safe and secure.  As the sending of information across the internet is not totally secure we cannot guarantee the security of the data you send us electronically and as such all information you send us over the internet is entirely at your own risk.

 

Under the GDPR you have the right to;

  1. Be informed of how and why we collect personal information from you

  2. Have access to your information - you can email us if you wish to have access to your personal information by emailing hello@holisticallycharmed.com

  3. Rectify your information - in the event the information is not accurate you can request we correct any omissions/mistakes;

  4. Erase your information - please let us know by emailing hello@holisticallycharmed.com  should you wish us to erase your personal information from our records - we will confirm with you when we have completed your request;

  5. Restrict processing - this means you can request that we restrict the processing of your personal information;

  6. Request we port your personal data to another data controller - we will require your express written consent to port this information to another controller, we will also require from you specifically where you would like your information sent;

  7. Object to us processing your personal data, please email hello@holisticallycharmed.com  to request this;

  8. Understand if we use automated decision-making - we currently do not use such technology at HOLISTICALLY CHARMED. Should we choose to add this capability to our product we will let you know how it may affect you.
